DO’s

  • Do find ways to encourage and praise your children every day.
  • Do let your children be responsible in all ways.
  • Ensure your child reaches the school on time every day.
  • Keep a copy of all receipts issued by the school.
  • Attend the parents meeting.
  • You need to send snacks and a water bottle with the child every day.
  • The child’s name should be mentioned on school bag , Lunch – box and water bottle with permanent marker for kindergarten.
  • An extra pair of clothes need to be sent along with the child everyday to school.
  • Any delay in picking up the child after the class timings should be informed to the concerned teacher well in advance.
  • Participate enthusiastically in all events involving parents.

Don’t

  • Don’t do everything for your kids.
  • Don’t use fear as a parenting tool.
  • Don’t make your family’s business public.
  • The school will not hand over the child to a new unknown person.
  • Don’t hide your feelings all the time.
  • Don’t help your ward with their home- work.
  • Don’t let your child wear expensive jewellery to school. The school will not be responsible for any loss of the personal belongings.
  • Don’t criticize the teacher in front of your child.
