Academics

General Instructions

  • A student is eligible for promotion only if he or she has attended classes for 80% of the total number of working days for which the school has worked from June to April of the Academic year.
  • The mobile phone should be switched off in the school premises.
  • Students should report to school in time.
  • Student should not wear low waist or tight fit pants.
  • Student should wear only half sleeve shirts and not tight fittings.
  • The shirts should be long enough to be tucked in properly.
  • Student should wear school belt only.
  • Students should cut their nails shortly both in hands and feet and should have trimmed/short hair cut only.
  • Student should have trimmed moustache and beard to zero. In case of deviation action will be taken. 10. Students should not wear rubber bands or any type of coloured threads in their hands and are also prohibited to wear gold jewels. (The school does not hold the responsibility for gold jewellery.)
  • Students are allowed to avail leave only with the consent of the parents and the teachers by submitting the leave letter to the class teacher.
  • Bike, Cell Phones are strictly prohibited, violation will lead to confiscation (Will not be returned.)
  • Even on birthday, students should report in their school uniform only. Celebration of birthday parties in and outside the school is prohibited.
  • The parents of kindergarten students (KG) should keep one set of extra dress in their school bag in case of emergency.
  • It is the duty of the parents to have a track of their children whether they are regular to school (Especially higher & Hr.Sec. Students)

Academic Instruction

  • Only parents should attend the PT Meeting etc., In case of absence the guardian who is responsible for the academic year should attend the meeting. (Guardian Photo should be given at the beginning of the year)
  • Parents should meet only the clerical department for any queries.
  • Parents are not supposed to shout or use unparlimentary words at the staff, Non teaching staff, drivers or cleaners in their stopping's. If any problem it should be solved with the clerical department.
  • Damaging of school property will be levied fine.
  • For any doubt the parents should come and clarify in person to school, and no clarification will be given over phone. (Regarding fee and education)
  • If the progress card it not signed the child will not be allowed in the campus the next day.
  • Own trip students should be in the premises by 8.45 a.m. Otherwise they will be sent back.
  • It is the duty of the parents to make the children learn at home.
  • The parents should not unnecessarily come and quarrel at school for the chid not learning at home (i.e. it is the duty of parents to make them learn.)
  • For class X, XI, & XII Std home work may or may not be given, it is the duty of the parent to make the child learn regularly for which the school does not hold the responsibility.



Term Fee Instructions

  • Term fee should be paid according to the dates given for each term.
  • Term fee should be paid in 3 installments, ie. 5th of June, September & December.
  • No concession in fee will be given.
  • The school does not hold any responsibility if the parents send the fee amount through their wards, drivers or care takers.
  • Phone calls are not entertained, in regard of payment of fee.

Transport Instructions

  • Transport fee should be paid according to the dates given for each term.
  • Transport fee should be paid in 3 installments, ie. 5th of June, September & December.
  • The entry of Bus pass should be made after each term, if the student does not posses the valid bus pass the child will not be allowed in the van.
  • Van will be stopped only in the specific stopping mentioned by the school.
  • For any change of van trip proper letter should be given well in advance and get confirmation.
  • Parents are not supposed to shout or use unparlimentary words at the staff, Non teaching staff, drivers or cleaners in their stopping's. If any problem it should be solved with the clerical department in person.

Additional Rules and Regulations

  • Sri Bharathi Vidhyalaya Matric.Hr.Sec.School School provides education from nursery to Class XII.
  • It is expected that the juniors are treated with love affection.
  • All students are expected to greet their school teachers when they meet them whether they actually teach them or not.
  • Students are expected to respect school property.
  • Any school property damaged even by accident should be reported immediately to the class teacher or to the Principal.
  • Students are advised not to bring any kind of object that can cause injury to others.
  • Under no conditions a student is permitted to bring mobile / smart watches to the school. If confiscated it will not returned.
  • Students using unfair means during examinations will be given severe actions.
  • The students should not litter the school premises with wrappers, papers or polythene bags.
  • Self discipline is the forte of the school.
